1. The controller

The data controller is ONBIT MEDIA S.R.L., tax identification code RO37027072, whose identification details are published on the Legal details page. For any question or request about personal data, email us at contact@onbit.ro.

2. What data we process

Through the contact form: your name, company, email address, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in (optional) and your message.

For form security: a cryptographic fingerprint of your IP address (not the IP address itself), kept for up to one hour, to limit abusive submissions.

Server logs: like any website, the hosting server technically records requests (for example IP address, date, page requested, browser type).

3. Purposes and legal bases

Replying to your request and, where relevant, preparing a quote: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in answering the messages we receive (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Website security and abuse prevention: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use form data for marketing and we do not make our reply conditional on marketing consent.

4. Recipients

Your data is accessible to the ONBIT MEDIA staff handling your request and to providers that support us technically under contract: the website hosting provider and the email (SMTP) provider through which we receive messages. Data may be disclosed to authorities only where the law requires it.

5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

We do not intend to transfer your data outside the European Economic Area.

6. How long we keep data

Messages received through the form are kept in our system for the period set out below and are then deleted automatically. If your request leads to a contract, the necessary data is kept in line with the legal obligations that apply to the contract.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise them, email us at the address above.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.
